Afkomstig van de beroemde Yoichi-distilleerderij, opgericht in 1934, is deze Japanse single malt geliefd om zijn verfijnde turfkarakter en subtiele rokerigheid. Die rokerige toets ontstaat door een traditionele distillatiemethode op directe kolenvuren — een zeldzaamheid vandaag de dag.
Deze botteling draagt geen leeftijdsaanduiding, aangezien het een zorgvuldig samengestelde blend is van single malts uit verschillende jaren.
