Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is a heavily peated dram and is the flagship Port Charlotte expression from Bruichladdich, released this year in 2018. This very smoky and peaty dram is a new favourite among whisky lovers, peated at 40 PPM and aged in ex-American whiskey casks and ex-French wine casks. On the nose, salted caramel, chocolate brownies, orange zest and a little salty seaweed. The palate features notes of oak smoke, sea air, custard cream biscuits and white grapes. And the finish, as you would image is peaty with a little smoke, rye toast and gingerbread.
