Until the early 80's, Cardhu was known as Cardow, which in Gaelic means Black Rock. This distillery is no longer in operation but was taken on by Johnnie Walker whisky, however Cardhu still remains at the heart of the branding. This 12 Year Old expression is unique because it comes in the old bottling, at 40% ABV.
