Aged for 5 years before being finished in a quarter cask, Laphroaig Quarter Cask is an unusual expression. The nose is buttery and contains toffee, hickory, rum and raisin ice cream, lots of nuttiness and a hint of zest. A very sweet hit followed by a little chilli, some cereal and Coca Cola make the palate an interesting one.
