Vieilli pendant 5 ans avant de bénéficier d’une finition en quarter cask, Laphroaig Quarter Cask est une expression pour le moins singulière. Le nez est riche et beurré, avec des notes de toffee, de hickory, de glace rhum-raisin, une belle touche de fruits secs et un soupçon de zeste. En bouche, une attaque très douce laisse place à une pointe de piment, des notes de céréales et une touche surprenante de cola, offrant une dégustation pleine de caractère.
