Voici le Port Ellen 1st Release (2001), un single malt d’Islay légendaire de 22 ans, distillé en 1979 et embouteillé à son degré naturel de fût (56,2 %). Produite à seulement 6 000 bouteilles, cette toute première édition issue de la distillerie Port Ellen aujourd’hui fermée est devenue l’un des whiskies les plus convoités au monde.
Réputée pour son équilibre remarquable entre fumée tourbée maritime, fraîcheur d’agrumes et profondeur exceptionnelle, cette expression incarne à la fois un pan majeur de l’histoire du whisky et un véritable actif d’investissement de premier ordre.
